MCU: 14 Things You Learn Rewatching The Avengers

1. Thanos Should Have "Courted Death"

The only thing that matters from the fan-baiting post-credits scene that introduced Thanos for the first time was the fact that the Mad Titan was on his way for a future storyline.

The idea that he would continue trying to take down humanity makes no sense because it's later revealed Thanos is only interested in getting all of the Infinity Stones and the only Infinity Stone (that he was 100% aware of) on Earth was the Tesseract, which Thor takes back to Asgard. If he was aware it was on Earth, why isn't he aware it's then moved to Asgard? And why would "ruling" mankind even be on Thanos' mind? That's not what he's here for.

Anyway, it's a real shame that Infinity War isn't going to be using Thanos' attempted seduction of Death as a key story element, because that "court death" line was clearly designed to set up a more pure adaptation of the Infinity Saga.
