MCU: 15 Majorly Dumb Plot Holes You Never Noticed

After Darren Cross perfects the Yellowjacket technology, he has a ceremony to celebrate his success at Pym Technologies' HQ. Because Scott Lang knows Cross intends to sell the tech to terrorists, he infiltrates the facility and wipes the servers. He then plants a timed explosive which destroys the entire building upon detonation. Luckily, no one is killed in the blast since the guests manage to evacuate the premise just before it collapses.

But the people aren't evacuated because of a bomb threat. They didn't even know there was a bomb! The police ordered the guests to leave after hearing gun shots in the building, which were fired by Cross at Lang's mentor, Hank Pym. So, if Cross didn't stumble upon Lang's plans to destroy his work, he wouldn't have fired his gun, meaning no one would've evacuated. If the people inside didn't leave at that moment, Pym and Lang would've been responsible for hundreds of deaths.

Also, WHY did Lang blow up the building in the first place? He already wiped the servers so Cross lost the information to reproduce the Yellowjacket technology. What was the advantage of blowing Pym Technologies to kingdom come?
