MCU: 8 Things You Need To Know About Kate Bishop

The West Coast Avengers and Hawkeye go together like Infinity Gems and a golden gauntlet, and have done, for almost 40 years. Barton founded the LA-based team once he split off from the main Avengers, and is currently serving on the newest version. The most recent incarnation was even masterminded by Bishop herself, and it goes some way in illustrating just how key a figure she's become in Marvel's books.

Now it's doubtful that we'll ever see a 'West Coast' Avengers in the future - it's clear that Earth's Mightiest Heroes are a global outfit in the MCU - but that book demonstrates just how much potential the character has in live action. She could be the Hawkeye fans always wanted to see on the big screen, but never got. That, more than anything, makes this project worth caring about.

Marvel fans are in something of a curious predicament right now. They know Bishop will arrive, but not who will play them, or even how and when they'll appear.

One can only hope that once Endgame arrives, Kate's future will be much clearer.
