Another 'dead' member of the Guardians who'll be returning for the sequel, Mantis hasn't really been around long enough to not bring back. Although she's not as essential to the story as the others, partly because she hasn't had as much screentime, she's still a fun member of the team and, since there's a chance neither Gamora or Nebula will be back, a much-needed female presence on the team.
