MCU: Every Hulk Appearance Ranked Worst To Best

Right at the outset of this year's Infinity War, the film gave fans a fight many had been looking to see happen - the Hulk versus Thanos - only to show the former get completely and utterly wrecked by the Mad Titan. His defeat was such a blow to his ego that he refused to come out for the rest of the film, leaving Banner to spend the rest of the story on his own.

Though Banner was pivotal in alerting Doctor Strange and Tony Stark to the threat of Thanos, he ultimately took a backseat after the first act. With so many characters to focus on, Bruce's struggle to get the Hulk to come out was played for laughs and not much else, and his reunion with Natasha was even glossed over with a punchline from Sam Wilson before the film continued rolling along.

Bruce did get to suit up and fight in the Hulkbuster armor during the war in Wakanda, taking out Cull Obsidian without help from his green alter-ego, but that was about it for the good doctor. In a loaded film, both characters simply fell victim to time restraints, shining with what they were given but not enough to top the rest of their appearances on this list.
