MCU: Every Phase Three Post Credit Scene Ranked Worst To Best
12. Captain America: Civil War - Peter Parker Will Return
Though Civil War was technically a Captain America movie, it featured as many characters as you would expect to find in an Avengers movie. Every member of the team was there, with the exception of Thor and Hulk, Thaddeus Ross appeared in an MCU movie for the first time in eight years, and two new players were introduced.
One of these was Peter Parker's Spider-Man. The teenager from Queens was brought into the fight on Tony's side for the battle at the airport and then vanished again once he helped take down Giant Man.
The film's second post-credit tease shows Peter back home with Aunt May, playing with a new toy he was obviously given by Tony. If it wasn't clear before, it was after this scene, that Peter Parker was in the MCU to stay. It also hinted at the relationship Peter would go on to have with Tony Stark in the coming years.
No one could have seen from this quite how much of an impact Tony would have on Peter, and vice versa, but looking back now it's clear that the seed was sown there and then.
