MCU: Every Single Marvel Movie Post-Credits Scene Ranked Worst To Best
25. Avengers: Age Of Ultron - The Gauntlet
There's a bit of a running thread of some of these post-credits scenes not actually making any sense but being used for impact and few match that quite as much as the Age Of Ultron stinger. In it, we get to see the Infinity Gauntlet for the first time, with Thanos vowing that he will "do it himself."
This was obviously the announcement of him coming to Earth to collect the Stones, but it made no sense because of its placement. Ultron's failure was a weird point to say that, since he wasn't actually working with Thanos. It would have made a lot more sense for this to have been the Avengers post-credits after Loki's failure.
Also, the Gauntlet shouldn't have been forged by this point, since Thanos got Eitri to do it in the run-up to Infinity War. But hey, if you put both of those points aside, it works as an impact point.
