MCU: Every Single Marvel Movie Post-Credits Scene Ranked Worst To Best

1. Iron Man - The Avengers Initiative

Even though the plans for an Avengers film were still tentative at the time, the first Iron Man confidently introduced the idea with a big money cameo from Samuel L Jackson. The fact that he's on screen for a matter of seconds says everything about that boldness.

As he celebrates defeating Obadiah Stane's Iron Monger and revealing the fact that he is Iron Man to the world's collected media, Tony Stark goes home to find that Jackson's Nick Fury has broken in and informs him of the fledgling Avengers Initiative. It was cause to whoop at the screen, not just because of who delivered the message.

And thanks to it kicking off the entire culture of Marvel's post-credits scenes, it deserves it's postion as the most important and still the best.
