MCU: 8 Villains Who Could Be The Next Big Bad
3. Scarlet Witch
In Age of Ultron, Wanda Maximoff picked The Avengers apart with little effort, damaging each of them significantly. Tony Stark was shown the vision that led to Ultron himself, and the Hulk was sent on the rampage that was ultimately the reason he flew off into space.
Throughout Civil War she proved herself to be the most powerful of The Avengers, yet while she has managed to hone and develop her skills, she is still incredibly young and far from in full control of her powers.
Through Infinity War and Avengers 4, her relationship with Vision is set to blossom, and with the looming possibility of his death this could be bad news for Scarlet Witch. She has already lost Pietro to her new life, if Vision was to go the same way she may have the mental breakdown that kicks off the House of M storyline.
Here we would see Wanda go insane and lose control of her powers to the extent that The Avengers would have to consider the possibility of killing her as the only way to stop her. This would be without question the toughest decision the team is ever likely to make, risking tearing them apart all over again.
