10. Dormammu

With the imminent arrival of Doctor Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes the equally inevitable arrival of Dormammu. Of course, the powerful Faltine villain won't appear as the villain in Strange's first movie - that will more likely be somebody more grounded like Baron Mordo - but having him appear in a post-credits scene, observing the emergence of the powerful new sorcerer on Earth, would be very cool. Dormammu is every bit as powerful as Thanos in the comic books and he'd be an ideal villain to take over the big-bad mantle once the Mad Titan is out of the way. Indeed, he could take the exact same role - watching from afar until he finally emerges to pose a threat, not only to Doctor Strange, but to the entire roster of heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It would be a truly exciting Easter egg and he would no doubt look phenomenal on screen in live action, utilising modern special effects.
