MCU Phase 4: 10 Biggest Challenges Facing Marvel Studios

The Sony situation has made Spider-Man's position in the MCU very shaky.

Spidey will receive an end to his current trilogy, but after that it's still up in the air as to what will happen to ol' web-head. This is a problem as Infinity War, Endgame and Far From Home went to great pains to establish Peter as the new Tony Stark, meaning his absence from future Avengers movies would leave a massive gap and simply wouldn't make sense.

There's also the matter of Sony's Venomverse, which seems to be pushing toward the Sinister Six following the Vulture reveal in the Morbius trailer. The Venomverse seems connected to the Tom Holland Spider-Man films though not the MCU, making for some confusing continuity questions.

In short, Sony and Marvel really need to get this whole thing sorted out.
