MCU Phase 4: 10 Dead Characters Who Could Return

This has been kind of confirmed by Courtney B Vance, who claimed ‘everyone will be back, including Michael B’ when speaking to ET at the SAG Awards. Vance isn’t exactly an insider though; his only connection to the movie is that his wife, Angela Bassett, plays Ramonda in it.

Still, it’s a juicy piece of gossip and as one of the franchise’s most popular villains ever, you can certainly see why they’d want to bring Erik Killmonger back.

Despite his poetic request to be tossed into the ocean like his ancestors who jumped from slave ships, Bassett noted ‘[we didn’t actually see him] in the ocean’. However, this would cheapen his arc somewhat if his wishes weren’t fulfilled.

Endgame already hinted that Namor is coming, so Killmonger’s body may have sunk to Atlantis. If that’s the case, he may be revived down there and get his ticket back.

Even if the character is dead though, there’s a chance the actor may still return. There’s flashbacks, as many characters here may have, but perhaps more likely he’ll appear as a voice or vision in T’Challa’s head which wears the heavy crown.
