MCU Phase 4: 15 Things Marvel Don't Want You To Know
13. How Daredevil Will Return
The Daredevil cancellation was universally hated. Fans far and wide were shocked and livid at Netflix for cancelling the wildly popular TV show. Of course there was a deeper nuance to be interpreted from this. Netflix would soon be in direct competition with Disney who were launching their own streaming service. Feeding the seeds of the enemy probably didn’t sound like a good idea to the Netflix higher ups.
However while this meant Charlie Cox would no longer be appearing on our screens as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen for the time being, it did free up the character for a possible future role directly in the MCU movies.
And if the news reports are to be believed, any legal factors preventing Marvel Studios from using Cox’s Daredevil are set to expire soon.
Naturally, the whispers have already began to spread through the vast online realms of an impending MCU arrival of Mr. Matt Murdoch. Some have even speculated that he could serve as legal counsel to Spider-Man after the latter’s identity reveal at the end of Far from Home. Just imagine that.
