This ranking will inevitably change about enormously when releases start to get a little closer and it's fair to say that Shang-Chi is probably only where it is right now because of a lack of knowledge.

While Simu Liu's Twitter presence was immediately brilliant around the film's official announcement, he's a comparatively unknown figure for his work. That doesn't mean anything at this stage other than he won't arrive with the same sort of existing fanbase, which always works slightly against hype.

The prospect of seeing the real Mandarin is definitely a good one too - particularly with Tony Leung playing him - but until we get news of what this will all specifically look like, Marvel are contending with the hangover of the Trevor Slattery Mandarin. Never discount how confusing that's going to be to some mainstream audiences.
