42. Moon Knight (TBC) - Moon Knight

The newly-announced Moon Knight Disney+ show - which has no casting news as of yet - will focus on mercenary Marc Spector, who in the comics is left for dead by fellow mercenary Raoul Bushman in the Egyptian desert. He's saved when locals take him to the temple of moon god Khonshu and he's empowered in exchange for a second chance at life - also as the God's avatar on Earth. Normal.

He's a great character and one we've known Kevin Feige has been interested in for some time, so this is very much the culmination of a long gestation period. Some early reports have suggested that the plot will explore whether his empowerment by Khonshu actually happened or whether he is insane. Let's hope it's not a main storyline.
