22. Drax (Dave Bautista) - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 3

Dave Bautista's role in Vol 3 looked the most precarious in light of James Gunn's sacking. He was the most vocal defender of Gunn on Twitter and the most open about exploring his options (including putting out a call to Gunn to cast him in The Suicide Squad, in fact) and he quickly became an agitating thorn in Disney's side as they allegedly set about finding a replacement.

Anyway, it's all water under the bridge and Bautista got his own way, with Gunn restored. Rumour has it we may get to see Drax reunited with his daughter - Moondragon - who he believes was killed in the massacre that wiped out his people. He's another of the characters whose backstory is yet to be properly explored so far, so that would be welcome.

As long as he's not relegated to JUST being there for comic relief, he's a very welcome returning element for Phase 5.
