MCU: Predicting Marvel's Next 20 "Completely Different" Movies
10. Blade
Ever since Marvel took back the rights to Blade, there's been lots of talk about the possibility of the vampire slayer coming back to the screen - whetehr in a movie or a smaller TV project. Either way, there's more than enough in the character to warrant consideration, and according to Wesley Snipes at least there have been conversations about a new adaptation.
Some might say that introducing supernatural elements to the MCU is a bad idea, given how MOSTLY grounded it is, but the Thor franchise has dabbled in that realm for years and Doctor Strange's adoption of magic is no more wild than the idea of the undead. Plus, Thor: Ragnarok had zombies, so it'd be no stretch to head back that way for Blade.
It might not be the right idea to have Snipes return, but Blade definitely works - even if they choose to put him in an alternate dimension of the MCU. And that would suit the agenda to visit new worlds too.
