MCU: Predicting Marvel's Next 20 "Completely Different" Movies

1. Secret Wars

Obviously, Thor: Ragnarok has now given everyone a taste of hero on hero gladiatorial action, and Civil War has shown the entertainment factor of seeing heroes at odds with one another, so there's definitely scope for more of the same on an even grander scale.

Secret Wars would be a great answer to Marvel's quest for strange new worlds and characters, and the story would be self-contained enough as an event not to really require too much set-up in individual solo movies. We'd just need to see heroes disappearing as the Beyonder puts together his teams to fight on Battleworld.

Secret Wars could work effectively as a one-shot movie, and that would represent a smart new direction for Marvel as they look to change things up.
