In two weeks' time, Avengers: Endgame will bring the third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to a close, putting to rest both this ten-film chapter of the franchise and turning the page on a journey that's been a decade in the making.
In 2016, this phase kicked off with Captain America: Civil War and most recently continued on with Captain Marvel last month, with seven other films in between that saw heroes we've come to know and love over the years going up against evildoers of all sorts, from vengeful goddesses to interdimensional beings to, of course, the iconic (and genocidal) Thanos.
