The God of Deception first appeared in the MCU ten years ago in the 2011 movie Thor. Over the years, Loki has become one of the most beloved characters of fans and perhaps the only antagonist whose development is clearly represented in several films of the MCU.
Loki was a resentful egoist who dreamed of the throne of Asgard, a traitor who tried to take over the Earth through Thanos, and an exile who found an ally in the mad titan. He pretended to be the All father in order to seize the throne, and helped save the people of Asgard from Hela at the cost of his native lands and his life. In Avengers: Infinity War, the story of that Loki ended.
But in Avengers: Endgame, Loki suddenly reappeared. As a result of time travel, the Avengers returned to the time of the invasion of New York, when the god of deception, captured after an unsuccessful siege, was able to escape with the Tesseract. This new version of Loki turned out to be the same selfis person. But the fans still love him.
