MCU Quiz: Who Said It - Iron Man Or Spider-Man?
"Hey guys, have you ever seen that really old movie, Empire Strikes Back?"
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tony Stark's Iron Man and Peter Parker's Spider-Man have a unique relationship.
When looking for allies against Captain America, Tony teams up with teenage science geek Peter. The high schooler found himself with superpowers after being bitten by a spider.
From their meeting in Captain America: Civil War, Tony took Parker under his wing, giving him a supersuit and providing a kind of mentorship. Peter, who only had his Aunt May, viewed Tony as a father figure. At times, the youngster struggled with a lack of guidance from Stark, especially since Peter has a strong belief that with his powers come the responsibility to look out for the little guy.
Tony tried to give Peter the help he needed, and despite Stark always warning him, somehow Spider-Man always seemed to find himself back in trouble - be it taking down illegal weapon sellers or hopping aboard a spaceship to help protect Earth from Thanos.
When Peter vanished in the snap and Tony died taking down Thanos, both heroes wished they could have done more to protect the other. Their mentor-style relationship might not have lasted long, but there was no denying their friendship was strong.
With Iron Man and Spider-Man forming such a strong team, can you tell who said what? Only the biggest fans will be able to work out whether it was Iron Man or Spider-Man who said it!
