BossLogic consistently creates some of the most compelling comic book movie fan-art on the Internet. In fact, it's so good, it's a little remiss to actually call it fan-art.

And now, to broaden the wheelhouse away from "just" art, BossLogic has now shared a big rumour for Spider-Man 3 that sounds like it could well have some legs. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Anyway, according to BossLogic's Instagram, Kraven will indeed appear in the threequel but the character will undergo some big changes from the comics iteration that will see him tied closer to the MCU's existing properties. Obviously, it's just a rumour right now, but the idea that Kraven could be an exiled Wakandan tribesman definitely sounds like something the MCU would do:

"So I have heard from a source that the idea of Kraven being from #wakanda from a tribe that no longer exists due to them being exiled by the royals is on the table. For the sake of this post I mocked Mustafa Shakir with some Wakanda tech. I still need to piece up a huge Russian dude, but for the next few days, I'll be dropping mostly #sdcc posts"

Inevitably, Shakir's reimagining looks amazing, but you knew he would thanks to BossLogic's set of skills.

Whether comics fans would accept such a fundamental change to the comics version of the character remains to be seen, but in the logic of the MCU, the idea of a Wakandan tribe bred for hunting who were exiled works a hell of a lot more than Soviet Sergei Kravinoff who has an obsession with proving himself the best hunter in the world. Having Kraven use his skills as a sort of mercenary for hire (with a big bad behind him) would be a more satisfying storyline than him simply wanting to randomly hunt Peter Parker, particularly with how Far From Home ended.

So what do you think? Would you like to see this happen? Share your reactions below in the comments thread.
