MCU Secret Invasion: Which Heroes Could Be Skrulls?

6. Hank Pym

As established in the comics, the Skrull attempt to infiltrate and invade Earth has been ongoing for decades and what better way to show their successes than to have an older hero revealed to be a deeply embedded sleeper cell who was sent to monitor SHIELD from within?

Having Pym revealed to be a Skrull would mirror the comic book arc, as he was unveiled at the very end of the first issue, and would follow the typical convention of superheroes losing their mentors without regurgitating cliches too much. His days have got to be numbered with two heroes looking up to him, and while it will be good to see him reunited with Janet in Ant-Man & The Wasp, it would be a hell of a twist if she returned and somehow recognised that he was an impostor.

Also, Pym being heavily involved would mean we'd get a movie potentially focused on him, Scott Land and Hope Van Dyne, and another Ant-Man beyond the sequel is definitely a good idea.
