MCU Villain Battle Royale: Who Would Come Out On Top?

With the first round out of the way, the eight remaining MCU villains move on to the quarter finals, and in the first match Mysterio and Surtur both have a very different, and much tougher fight on their hands.

Quentin Beck, after defeating fellow human Darren Cross, now has to fight a demon from space hell, while Surtur has to contend with more than just brute strength. He can outmatch most in terms of pure physical power, but his mind would be just as easily susceptible to being tinkered with by Mysterio.

The master of illusion’s game plan wouldn’t change. No matter the opponent, his deal is to use his drones to create unrest in his opponent before blindsiding them with a fatal shot. However, how do you kill a devil the size of a mountain?

Mysterio could keep Surtur in an illusion as long as he liked, but there would be no way for him to deliver any kind of final blow. Even with his drones, he just doesn’t have the power to defeat someone like Surtur. Eventually, the monster would lash out and hit everything in his vicinity, regardless of what he could see, Beck included.
