MCU Vs DCEU: The Definitive Comparison (So Far)

This one's a bit of a no-brainer.

Kevin Feige is the man behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the upstart producer that holds the keys to the biggest kingdom in the business and is now regarded as one of the most powerful people in Hollywood. The brains behind the game-changing shared superhero universe, Feige knows exactly where everything is headed and is responsible for providing the connective tissue and shared plot points that tie the MCU's disparate franchises together into one cohesive whole.

As for DC? They recently underwent yet another behind-the-scenes reshuffling.

In the beginning, Zack Snyder was believed to be the driving force behind the shared universe, but following the disappointing critical reaction to Batman vs. Superman, DC's Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and Warner Bros. Executive Vice President Jon Berg were placed in charge of the newly-established DC Films division.

However, following even more critical and commercial disappointment in the form of Justice League, Berg left and was replaced by Walter Hamada in January of this year, with Chantal Nong brought on as Vice President the following month.

After undergoing yet another creative shakeup, hopefully the DCEU can flourish under new leadership and fulfill their potential as a creative force. Stability behind the scenes is key as Marvel have gone from strength to strength over the last decade, thanks in part to having Kevin Feige calling the shots since day one.
