Michael Sheen In Early Talks For Tim Burton's DARK SHADOWS

The Playlist are exclusively reporting tonight that the wonderfully weird Michael Sheen is in early talks for a supporting role in Tim Burton's new movie Dark Shadows, that begins filming in April. No word on who he is playing but we are reminded that Sheen voiced The White Rabbit CGI character in Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Dark Shadows is the Warner Bros adaptation of the 60€s supernatural ABC daily serial of the same name that will center on Johnny Depp as a tortured vampire who is searching for his long lost love. He is owner of a large estate... and with very little knowledge of the show... I'll take a stab in the dark that Sheen is circling the role of a well to-do English gentlemen butler! If Sheen does sign on (sounds like he's reading Seth Grahame-Smith's script over the weekend before making a decision) he will join an impressive cast that includes Eva Green (as a witch who is obsessed about Collins), Michelle Pfeiffer (the matriarch of the estate in Collins' absence), Bella Heathcoate (as the governess of the estate), Jackie Earle Haley (as a con artist) and Helena Bonham Carter (as a specialist in psychology and rare blood disorders). It's a bunch of weirdo's basically and Sheen would fit in pretty well, we say.
