MINUTEMEN from WATCHMEN!

This is what makes Watchmen so textured. If you have read the novel you will know that there was a team of older superhero's from 1939 who lived to protect the world from villains before disbanding a decade later. The novel then takes a generation leap to the 80's and a new set of superhero's, some of which are related to the older heroes - who now act as the main characters for the story. I'm so glad Zack Snyder has kept in this Watchmen legacy and the whole idea of this grander and more complex story. Watchmen has always been a human emotional drama and it needs these set's of characters in the background to really feel it. The photo's showcases SILK SPECTRE, NITE OWL, CAPTAIN METROPOLIS, MOTHMAN, SILHOUETTE, COMEDIAN, DOLLAR BILL and HOODED JUSTICE. If you know the tale, you will know the significance of some of those characters whose action still haunt the next generation. Great book, it should hopefully be a great film. Yeah they look like fancy dress costumes and are kinda goofy but that's also kinda the point. I would rather call it classic or from "The Golden Age". source - aicn
