MIRRORS trailer

It's a remake of a 2003 Korean horror, updated to the Western audience by talented French helmer Alexandre Aja and a rare big screen performance these days from Kiefer Sutherland. Here he plays a troubled ex-cop who must save his family from an unspeakable evil that is using mirrors as a gateway into their home.

Well, sadly they weren't able to recapture the slow building atmospheric mood they had built up from the behind the scenes footage released a few weeks back.

In fact, they have taken a general chemistry that worked quite way (Sutherland in a haunted house of mirrors by himself) and left it pretty much out of this cookie cutter Hollywood-idized footage.

And clearly when your biggest asset here is the talent of Kiefer Sutherland, don't make him play second fiddle in the trailer.

Mirrors opens August 15th.
