13. "You Wouldn't Like Me When I'm Hungry"
The single most cringe-worthy attempt at comedy in the film, however, occurs a few moments later when Morbius drops the howler of a one-liner, "I'm getting hungry. Believe me, you wouldn't like me when I'm hungry."
This is very clearly a nod to the classic Bill Bixby-starring Incredible Hulk TV series, where Bixby's David Banner says, "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
While it'll likely fly over the heads of younger viewers, to anyone aware it's a reference that sticks out like a sore thumb, making a slightly embarrassing and wholly unearned nod to a fellow Marvel property.
