Must Watch: Why Is Tom Cruise Always Running?

If I could run like Tom Cruise, I would probably make sure I forced every director to shoot me making a dash or two in every blockbuster I made as well. This video mash-up comes from Movie-Clips.com (found via /film) and it showcases some of the Cruiser's most memorable running scenes, the most ludicrous coming from Mission Impossible II (I dare you not to laugh when he takes off the mask) and The Firm, which watched out of context like this just feels incredibly silly. My personal favourite two Tom Cruise running sequences come from Collateral and Mission Impossible III - the latter director J.J. Abrams, clearly a huge fan of the Cruise-meister, just let the camera lovingly follow the actor as he straight arched ran seemingly to eternity. Here's the clip mash-up, but it never does quite answer it's own question why Tom Cruise is Always Running? I guess the answer is - because he can. Movie Videos & Movie Scenes at MOVIECLIPS.com
