Neeson, Bloom & Bardem in Sarajevo film

Based on the memoirs of an aid worker who worked during the 43 month Balkans siege.

Kingdom of Heaven co-stars Orlando Bloom and Liam Neeson will topline the currently untitled movie adaptation of Bill Carter's memoirs Fools Rush In, based on his life as an aid worker in Sarajevo during the bitter Balkans war siege that lasted 43 months. Academy Award winner Javier Bardem is in talks for a supporting role. Established Brazilian director Andrucha Waddington will make his English language film-making debut.

"I read the script, and the very human story and the very core of this film spoke to me very clearly," Bloom told reporters in Sarajevo. "This is a departure from the very big Hollywood productions."

The film should begin lensing before the end of the year, with the full backing and support of the major of Sarajevo.
