Nestor Carbonell, The Mayor of Gotham, Is Re-Elected For THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

A quick casting update on The Dark Knight Rises courtesy of Variety. Nestor Carbonell has secured a return to the Batman franchise. He will reprise his role as the Mayor of Gotham in Christopher Nolan's third and final Gotham movie. I really enjoyed the few scenes Carbonell featured in the last movie and just like he did on Lost, he crafted a memorable character just by doing so little. Can't wait to see what schemes he has to bring down Batman, the vigilante on the run and we also hope Chris Nolan has the idea to bring back more of The Dark Knight cast including the characters Det. Stephens (Keith Szarabajka) and Det. Ramirez (Monique Gabriela Curnen).
