The Entertainment System Is Down is the latest film from Triangle of Sadness filmmaker Ruben Östlund, and revolves around the hilarious premise of a plane-full of passengers being driven into intense boredom when the plane's entertainment system goes kaput.

The not-remotely-subtle satire speaks for itself, though with Östlund involved it's a fair assumption that things get a whole lot wilder following the initial setup.

We do know that the production went the unconventional route of purchasing a full-scale Boeing 747 for shooting, which suggests we're going to see the plane utilised in some unexpected ways.

And if you're somehow not intrigued yet, the cast is absolutely stacked, counting among its number Keanu Reeves, Kirsten Dunst, Daniel Brühl, Samantha Morton, Nicholas Braun, Julie Delpy, Tobias Menzies, and Vincent Lindon.

Though The Entertainment System Is Down technically doesn't have a confirmed 2026 release date yet, the film wrapped roughly a year ago, so it'd be surprising if Östlund didn't unveil it by year's end.
