I was under the impression that
Alien vs. Predator was supposed to breathe new life into the
Alien and
Predator franchises. There's been talk from
Ridley Scott,
James Cameron and
Sigourney Weaver for years about a possible Alien 5 - but I guess when AvP was relatively successful for Fox, it made more sense to them to carry on with that. This movie is being directed by newcomers The
BrothersStrause and has a cast even more C-list than the previous movie. It's an odd choice for a Christmas movie but could prove to be smart counter programming on Fox's part. Follow this link to
