4. Tommy Lee Jones
Forget for the moment that Tommy Lee Jones has already been involved with the Batman franchise as a less popular version of Two-Face and consider him in the role of Jim Gordon. For a start, you cant knock Joness ability as an actor given the right role, and a new director would certainly find mileage exploring Gordons tumultuous personal life through a performer like him. Of course, Tommy Lee Jones is getting on in years now, so his Gordon would have to have aged appropriately. But again if a writer/director comes along that has the stones to push a Frank Millers Dark Knight Returns script, wed probably looking at Tommy Lee Jones as a perfect potential candidate.
