3. Gary Oldman
We know Nolans done with the property, we know Christian Bale will definitely not be returning but Ive yet to hear Gary Oldman say that hes completely forsaken the Batman. You could probably cast Jim Gordon equally as well as he was cast in the Nolan franchise, but I very much doubt you could cast him better. So to a certain extent, if Oldmans a possible candidate, why go elsewhere? It could even act as a sly meta-reference to the subtextual themes of the character himself new, Movie, new Director, new Batman, new Gotham, same old Jim Gordon; same shit, different day. Itd also be a great way to connect Nolans franchise to the upcoming slew of DC movies that are about to be developed in preparation for a Justice League movie.
