2. Batman: Son of the Demon
When Batman discovers that he is hunting the same assassin as Ras Al Ghul, the two form a shaky partnership. Despite constant ideological conflicts with Ras, Bruce Wayne falls for his daughter Talia and the pair end up conceiving a child together (the book was once regarded as non-canon, however more recently this child has now been included in the mythology as Damian Wayne, Bruces son and the newest iteration of Robin).
How It Could Work: Its another halfway house between Nolans continuity and entirely new continuity; we have characters and elements that were present in Nolans continuity and could indeed feasibly be molded to fit with it. Of course, itd mean posing that Ras was actually alive, which in my eyes infers the existence of the Lazarus Pit the means by which Ras attains immortality according to comic book lore. However, itd mean very little need to establish new characters and could be a potential easy sell for the leagues of TDKR fans what have these characters that we now know and love gone on to do after Nolan put down his Bat-pen?
Potential Issues: There arent many here outside of the feasibility of Nolans Batman agreeing to team up with one of the franchises most dastardly foes. However, its not like the pair would necessarily remain friends throughout, and what better way to establish a Robin to a new franchise than to introduce him as Bruce Waynes son?
