New Batman Movie: 10 Villains We'll Never See On Screen

3. Man-Bat

A scientist who specializes in bats, Dr. Kirk Langstrom developed a serum that was simply supposed to give humans the heightened hearing levels of a bat. That, like most cross-species science experiments, went totally wrong, turning the good-willed doctor into the monstrous Man-Bat. When the serum is ingested, Dr. Langstrom loses all sense of control, becoming much more feral and vicious. To be perfectly honest, his situation and plight echoes that of Spider-Man's Dr. Connors/The Lizard. Suck it, Croc. Why we shouldn't expect them: Now, while Man-Bat has been the center of some pretty good stories (and some episodes of Batman: The Animated Series), I just don't see him ever making it to a movie. As stated above, he's very similar to The Lizard, and I'm sure that Warner Bros. wouldn't want fans thinking that they're copying the Spider-Man reboot. Even if that weren't the case, Man-Bat in film-form would probably resemble that of a horror monster. Not that it would be a bad thing, as Man-Bat has the potential to be plenty scary; but once again, I don't think that's the intent WB really has for the next Batman film.
