1. Batman and Robin, The Boy Wonder
When Bruce Wayne left John Blake in direct control over the fate of the Batman legacy, a few red flags were raised, the main one being that Batman is highly trained, whereas Blake is little more than a rookie cop with his heart in the right place. With that being said, I could see him taking up the mantle of Robin, provided Batman was around to mentor him of course. So, perhaps the most sensible way to reboot Nolans continuity would be to have John Blake trying and failing to perform as Batman, to the point that he finds himself badly beaten and cornered by a group of thugs. This is it, wed think as they closed in for the kill. Suddenly, a figure swoops down and in moments the group of marauding attackers is incapacitated. 'Who is this?!' you might think to yourself. But of course deep down you'd already know. Why would Bruce Wayne have returned? I mean, you can take your pick really; his addiction to justice, rising crime figures, to address the Blackgate prisoners, the possibilities are almost endless. Suffice to say, with John Blake in tow as Robin, a new Batman movie could both reboot Nolans continuity while simultaneously evolving it. Again, were looking at a new actor for Batman, but no one has said Joseph Gordon-Levitt is out if there were ever the opportunity to reprise his role in TDKR. And by including this age-old, fan-favourite partnership, youd not only seamlessly integrate Nolans continuity, youd also win back some of the droves of die-hard Batman fans who couldnt help but feel a little bit disenfranchised by his take on the Dark Knight mythos. So there are ten ways we think Warner Bros. could look to reboot Nolans continuity for their next entry into the Batman franchise, whenever that might be. Anything to add? Do tell, wont you?
