2. Poison Ivy
Immortalized on film in the terrible 1997 Batman & Robin, Pamela Isley a.k.a. Poison Ivy is another long shot for any future Batman film. A botanist who is injected with experimental toxins, she barely survives only to find she has gained the ability to control plants, immunity to all toxins, bacteria and viruses and the ability to kill with a toxic kiss. Ivy was introduced as a love interest for Batman and Robin to fight over but her origin and personality were expanded to make her an eco-terrorist and feminist. While special effects have evolved, allowing the possibility of visuals beyond the glitter and spandex sported by Uma Thurman, any depiction of Ivy's abilities would be cartoonish in Batman's realistic world.
