When the first trailer for
Jonathan Liebesman's upcoming Black Hawk Down/Alien invasion flick

a couple of months back, we called it the prime example of successfully conquering the tricky art of making a perfect trailer. It got everything so right, thanks in part to the melancholy music choice (Johan Johannson's
The Skys Gone Dim) which sent thousands scurrying around the web looking for it and the quick cuts of intense combat selling the idea that we could be in for a serious, downbeat alien invasion movie about the possible last stand for the human race. With this new trailer we have a better look at the cast including
Aaron Eckhart,
Michelle Rodriguez et al. It features more alien action and machines and wisely they've kept that music, but added in the now 'obligatory for all sci fi movie trailers' deep bass buzzing.
