New International Wrath of the Titans Trailer With More Hideous Monsters

Wrath of the Titans hits 2D, 3D and IMAX theaters on March 30th, 2012.

Yahoo Movies have released the brand new international trailer for Wrath of the Titans, which hits 2D, 3D and IMAX theaters on March 30th, 2012. The trailer is more or less the same as the other one but with a few glimpses at new scenes and lots of screen time for the giant sized creatures. Warner Bros seem to be banking on these CGI creations as being the big drawing point to get you back into the theater and maybe it will... it sure seemed to work last time. Taking place ten years after the events of Clash of the Titans, the sequel once again finds Sam Worthington at odd with the Gods who are divided. The plot revolves around monstrous titans being unleashed from captivity as a threat to the Gods and the world as we know it. Zeus (Liam Neeson) convinces his son Perseus (Sam Worthington) to fight them in the same nonsensical, CGI overloaded, PS3 style action sequences. Ralph Fiennes has returned as Hades, Rosamund Pike replaces Alexa Davalos who was subbed as Andromeda from the original with impressive new supporting casts including Edgar Ramirez (Ares, The God of War), Toby Kebbell (Agenor) and Bill Nighy (Hephaestus). Watch the new trailer below; Wrath of the Titans is about a month away from release, coming to theaters on March 30th and was directed by Battle: Los Angeles helmer Jonathan Liebesman.
