New Red-Band RUBBER Trailer

A French supernatural thriller in which a tire-named Robert- comes to life and wreaks havoc with its supernatural powers: seriously- what€™s not to like? And this is the plot of the sophomore feature length film by French dance music producer Mr Oizo (real name Quentin Dupieux), Rubber, which premiered as early as May last year and the Cannes film festival to a less than approving reception. Never-the-less, Monsieur Dupieux took his self-written film on the worldwide festival circuit, including Stiges and Toronto horror festival After Dark where responses were more mixed and, eventually, secured an online distribution deal in the United States courtesy of Hulu. It hasn€™t been given a UK or European release, but will hit DVD in April and by virtue of its wilful insanity, its poster and trailer are still well worth a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3n-Bndcwjo The film stars both Stephen Spinella (Milk) and Roxane Mesquida (La Derive) and is produced by Julian Berlan (Fay Grim) and Gregory Bernard (Lagerfield Confidential).
