New Set Photo's From THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Reveal Oscorp

Once full snaps of the new Spider-Man costume were taken by amateur Peter Parker's everywhere, it seemed fan interest in spying on the set of Sony's web-slinging reboot had died down. It's been quite a while since we've had anything new to show from The Amazing Spider-Man, but now we have some fresh photo's taken from production in New York, including shots of Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and a glimpse at Hearst Tower filling in for Oscorp HQ which surprisingly appears in the film. Oscorp is set to play a part in the movie despite, as far as we are aware, nobody cast as either Peter Parker's best friend Harry Osborn (James Franco in the previous trilogy) or his father Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe in Spider-Man 1 and 2 who became Green Goblin) - both characters who in Sam Raimi's continuity have both been killed off. See full images after the jump... How big a part Oscorp plays in the movie is anyone's guess but we do know Slumdog Millionaire actor Irrfan Khan was cast last December as Nels Van Adderr, an employee of Osborn Industries and who agreed to be the test subject of Norman Osborne€™s wacky experiments that in good old Spidey fashion goes horribly wrong, turning him into a monstrous killer - the Proto Goblin. So I would imagine it has something to do with that. Perhaps too, the main villain of the new movie Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans) has something to do with Oscorp, perhaps it's his financial backer? A reader of Superhero Hype sent the following to the site after seeing the Oscorp image uploaded;
"The Norman Foster 'Hearst Building' is being used as Oscorp. They were filming interior scenes in the lobby and mezz floors. I saw plenty of Oscorp employees (all wearing security badges), a couple of police officers (no Dennis Leary) and a couple of army officers (Generals I think). Crew members (two that I saw) were wearing shirts that said 'Amazing' on them in the Comic font.I also asked a few people if Norman had been cast, but they claimed to know 'nothing'."
Meanwhile Omelete (via Collider) have images of a night stunt rehearsal for a web-slinging set piece under a bridge. And the Oscorp image in higher res; Directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) - The Amazing Spider-Man is due in theatres next July.
