July is always my favourite month of the year, not just because the weather is usually gorgeous but my birthday falls in that movie too. And with my birthday, comes my birthday movie... a special event where I always see a flick around that date. In truth it's no different to just seeing a movie any other week... I always seem to give it a special sense of purpose around the 25th of July.
The Simpsons Movie has long been penciled in as my birthday flick of 2007 and now comes word from
Film Ick that the movie is being released on Thursday 26th July in the U.K. which is one day earlier than you guys in the U.S. As Homer would say "Woo hoo!". Film Ick also have the scoop on a brand new poster for the upcoming movie which you can enlarge by clicking on the image to your left.I think it looks rather bland but then again, what can you really do with a Simpsons poster that has to feature all the family characters anyway?
