Nicole Kidman: 5 Awesome Performances And 5 That Sucked

1. Becca Corbett - Rabbit Hole (2010)

nic Despite garnering some Oscar buzz and much critical acclaim back in 2010, Rabbit Hole is still a relative obscurity amongst casual movie-goers, though it's certainly a picture that deserves far more attention. Kidman, once again on perfect form, plays a woman who is haunted with grief (there's definitely a thematic link with Nicole Kidman characters, hm?) and finds joy in a new-found friendship with a young boy. It's a deeply moving film, though not a perfect one by any means, but the chemistry between Kidman and Aaron Eckhart (who plays her husband) is sensational. The biggest problem here is, perhaps, that Rabbit Hole is especially depressing, and many will be put off but its brutal honesty and gloomy tone. If you can get past that, though, you'll be rewarded with a superb and touching portrait of a woman in pain that resonates in every frame, all courtesy of the great Nicole Kidman.
