No THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Super Bowl Trailer

Warner Bros shun the expensive Super Bowl ads this year but Paramount, Universal & Walt Disney Pictures all purchased slots.

Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures and Walt Disney Pictures have all purchased ad space during this year's Super Bowl game, taking place Sunday February 5th. Amazingly, Warner Bros Pictures made the decision not to include The Dark Knight Rises trailer despite its big action set piece set around a football game. Though it's not like The Dark Knight Rises really needs the Super Bowl ad. The last movie didn't and was the biggest film of that year. Although not confirmed, we can expect Paramount to showcase G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Universal to showcase Battleship and Walt Disney to showcase John Carter and Marvel's The Avengers. These are the biggest films released this summer from all three companies. Sitting this year's Super Bowl game out are 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures which means we definitely won't see new ads for the aforementioned The Dark Knight Rises The Amazing Spider-Man, Men In Black 3 and Prometheus. source - LA Times
