October Fox titles coming to Blu-Ray (UK)

28 DAYS & WEEKS LATER, THE OMEN TRILOGY, RESCUE DAWN & More!

Fox Home Entertainment and Pathé Distribution Ltd. have announced their list of catalogue titles set to be released from October 6th in the U.K. on Region B Blu-Ray Disc. First up 28 Days Later will get the Blu-Ray treatment, and you can also pickup the already released 28 Weeks Later along with it in a handy two pack box set.

The first two movies in the Russian horror series Night Watch and Day Watch which I have still not managed to see yet, get the Blu-Ray treatment. This will also come as a possible double pack.

The beautiful, epic and stunningly psychological complexity that is House of Flying Daggers, a title I can imagine looks like absolute bliss in this format gets the HD treatment...

Sean Bean and Bob Hoskins in a British gangster movie, why haven't I seen this yet? Outlaw from the director of The Football Factory comes to Blu-Ray. Also to be released is his other movie The Business but we had no artwork for that movie at this time.

Resident Evil, the most successful franchise based on a video game series ever but sadly the one with with unlimited potential that went unlived. How I longed for George A. Romero to film this back in the day, sadly we got Paul W.S. Anderson, and we have never recovered since have we?

And then one of the best movies of last year from a director who I have never seen a bad movie from, the amazing Werner Herzog and his Rescue Dawn. What a beautiful film, Christian Bale once again gives a stunning performance as a German/American Fighter pilot who gets imprisoned during the Vietnam War behind enemy lines.

This is one that I am pre-ordering straight away and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Other titles to be released which we have no artwork for include... Alien Vs. Predator 1 & 2 Double-PackThe Hills Have Eyes 1 & 2 Double-Pack (the remakes of course)The Hills Have Eyes 2The Omen Trilogy Box-SetSilent Hill Titles I will be picking up without question: 28 Days/Weeks Later double pack.... Rescue Dawn.... House of Flying Daggers. source - dvd times
