What If Loki Was The Hero?

This would be easily one of the most popular scenario's if they chose to go with it. Loki is probably one of the most popular characters in the MCU, even getting his own Disney+ show despite having died... is it three times now? It's easy to lose track.

If Loki hadn't tricked Thor into attacking the Frost Giants then he would of likely ascended to the throne, still a warrior king that doesn't understand the consequences of his actions. This would actually set up Thor to be more a threat to the peace than a hero. And in this scenario, who else who could stop Thor but his own adopted brother?

Loki saving the cosmos from being torn apart from war would not only be a amazing alternate take on the events of Thor, but could be a really interesting character study of Loki. Being the hero of Asgard, would Loki feel the need to take the throne for himself? Would it just be enough to prove himself to Odin? These are some really interesting questions that could be explored.
