How much can you remember about the end of the Infinity Saga?
It's always difficult to pull off an ending. Harry Potter stumbled with its final instalment, as did Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy. The filmmakers must strike the balance of delivering what fans expect while also allowing for new developments in the universe that has been created.
The final chapter of Marvel's Infinity Saga managed to accomplish both feats. The introduction of time-travel brought a new dimension to the already established universe, which in turn...added new dimensions to previous entries in the franchise.
The added depth to films such as Thor: The Dark World and the original Avengers movie meant that fans across the globe were satisfied with the overall product. This is something that we may never see again. A universe that has managed to flesh out all of its characters to this extent is unheard of in cinema.
The model is basically a television formula mixed in with comic book storytelling and we need to give props to The Russo Brothers and Kevin Feige for delivering this delight.
